UNIT SEVEN:  AN INDUSTRIAL SOCIETY:  This unit deals with the industrial growth of America during the mid to late 19th century.  It involves the emergence of the United States into a world power, as well as the exploitation of industrial workers in order to get there.

This unit also covers the attrocities committed by the United States government and its citizens towards the Native American tribes living west of the Mississippi River in the name of Manifest Destiny.
