  • Want the skills to be ready for college, start a new career or earn your High School Equivalency Diploma?

Starting January 1, 2014, New York State no longer offers the GED® test. The "TASC" (Test Assessing Secondary Completion) is the new, national high school equivalency test. TST BOCES offers it as a paper/pencil test and soon as a computerized test.

If you are over 17, the first step is to call and make an appointment to attend our program Orientation and TABE pretest.

For those 21 and over, the "NEDP" (National External Diploma Program) is an alternate pathway leading to a high school equivalency diploma. This web-based program allows you to work independently and with an advisor to complete the program and earn your high school equivalency diploma. To find out how to meet eligibility requirements or for more information refer to the brochure included or call our office to discuss this innovative, flexible alternative to the TASC test.

    Call - 607-257-1561 or email mcandelajordan@tstboces.org

Pretesting is scheduled conveniently at our Warren Road campus and at our class locations several times each month. Orientations are twice a month at the Adult Education Building on the TST BOCES campus where the TASC is given.

Next Paper Based TASC EXAM- February 27th & 28th, 2015

Next Computer Based TASC EXAM- TBA
